Sister Willie Mae Gordon - Bio
After working in various educational institutions for more than 48 1/2 years, she retired in January of 2022 to become her husband’s full-time caregiver. She enjoys and take delight in serving and assisting others as best and whenever she can. She serves as a volunteer of the Women Empowerment Training Institute (WETI), a non-profit organization, and is actively involved as a volunteer in several ministry areas at her church - From the Heart Church Ministries of Houston. Until March 12, 2024, she was honored and godly proud to have been a wife to her husband for 47 1/2 years. She is also a mother of 4, a grandmother of 11 (of which 1 is deceased), and a great-grandmother of 8. Her ultimate goal is stated in Romans 12:18 – “if it be possible, as much as lieth in you, live peaceably with all men.”
